Adoption Application

You must submit an application in order to adopt an animal through Outrider Dogs Rescue. This is your first and most important step. Once you submit an application, we will reach out to you, ONLY IF, you have been selected to adopt. Please ensure you fill out the application in its entirety and answer the questions honestly and thoroughly.

We will provide all information about the animal once we contact you. Please make sure you are completely committed to adopting before submitting an application. We do not hold animals! All of our rescues deserve a home as soon as possible and as soon as they are ready. Please make sure you are ready for that commitment and responsibility. You should be of the mindset that adopting an animal is a commitment for the entirety of that animals life.

If you see one of our rescues on Petfinder, that animal is still available. WE DO NOT REPLY TO PETFINDER “INQUIRES”. Once again, we will only reach out to you if you have submitted an application and you have specifically been chosen for adoption.

This is not a requirement for all dogs so do not be worried! This is 100% based on the dog you are applying for. Majority dogs that are required to have a fenced in yard will have a description in their Petfinder bio stating so.

Please list the name, relationship and best contact number for two non-family related references

Do you plan on pursuing dog training classes or private instruction and if so, with who?

Are you aware that Outrider Dogs Rescue does not make guarantees on a dogs age, breed, temperament, or future health?
